La Despensería de Guadalajara was born from a simple idea: to bring authentic global flavors to your table, prepared just like at home, with fresh ingredients and no preservatives. Behind the project is Gregory Prudhommeaux, who lived in China for 17 years and has traveled extensively throughout Asia, learning from chefs and passionate culinary enthusiasts from diverse cultures. His journey combines culinary encounters, traditional techniques, and a constant curiosity for the flavors of the world.
Our story
Every dish we cook tells a story. From aromatic Thai curries and slow-cooked French stews to Italian antipasti and Arabic specialties, everything is made in small batches, with the same care and attention to detail you would put into your own kitchen.
For years, Gregory has organized private dinners for professional networking, gatherings with friends, and parties in both China and Mexico, transforming each table into a space for connection and enjoyment. In Guadalajara, this passion continues with the monthly private dinners he prepares in collaboration with Aceituna Experiences, where each event has a distinct theme, taking diners on a journey from Alsace to Asia, by way of the Mediterranean.
